Combined with analytics and machine learning, the factory of the future will have predictive and prescriptive capabilities, contributing to higher productivity & boundless innovation.

The Malaysian Smart Factory (MSF) 4.0 program @ SHRDC offers smart factory competency training through hands-on and online/remote learning approaches, ideal for relevant skillset and talent development towards an Industry 4.0 ready workforce in Malaysia.

Training Methodology

Participants are exposed to theoretical fundamentals and demonstrations of information technology related to smart factory competencies and processes, followed by hands-on activities to support application of competencies acquired.

Computer Vision Deep with Learning for Smart Factory

This program provides hands-on technical training on Deep Learning for Computer Vision application through an integrated platform.

This program would provide technical hands-on competencies for participants to setup computer vision based projects, which includes gathering the required datasets, dataset labelling and annotation, training deep learning models, and deploying deep learning models to carry out computer vision tasks and application.

These steps are core requirements to ensure a successful implementation of computer vision projects and applications. Participants would also be able to deploy the computer vision application through other software applications such as Node-Red through MQTT protocol for developing interactive dashboard interfaces for industry use cases and applications.

  • Provide detailed definition of deep learning and describe the basic structure of neural network.
