SHRDC February Recap
Happy Ramadan to all!
Welcome to our monthly SHRDC Newsletter! Here, we aim to keep you updated on the latest news, initiatives, and achievements in sustainability and manufacturing. Together, we’re driving positive change and shaping a more sustainable future for our company and the planet.
Empowering Sustainability: Reflecting on Recent Initiatives in the Recent Months
One of the cornerstones of our recent efforts has been the ESG Webinar held on the 18th of January, titled “Eager to Begin Your Sustainable Journey”. This webinar served as a platform to raise awareness surrounding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, essential pillars in driving sustainable business practices. By bringing together experts, stakeholders, and enthusiasts, we facilitated insightful discussions and shared practical strategies for integrating sustainability into organizational frameworks. From exploring renewable energy solutions to discussing ethical supply chain management, participants gained valuable insights to guide their sustainable journey.
On the last week of February, the SHRDC spotlight was on sustainability as we hosted the IED ESG event. Industry leaders gathered to explore the vital role of sustainability in shaping the future of manufacturing. The event featured renowned speakers who shared their invaluable experiences and insights, emphasizing the urgency of our collective efforts towards a more sustainable tomorrow. From innovative practices to impactful strategies, the discussions sparked inspiration and ignited a commitment to driving positive change within the industry. Sustainability isn’t just a passing trend; it’s the cornerstone of our future. Let’s continue collaborating and innovating, paving the way for a more sustainable and prosperous tomorrow.
Another notable endeavour has been the “AI Untuk Rakyat” program, an online self-learning initiative designed to demystify artificial intelligence (AI) and promote digital literacy across diverse demographics. In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, understanding AI is essential for individuals from all walks of life. Our program, available in four languages, transcends barriers by catering to students, stay-at-home parents, and professionals. Moreover, its compatibility with speech feedback applications ensures accessibility for individuals with visual impairments, reinforcing our commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunity.
As we reflect on these recent achievements, we also celebrated a significant milestone: the 32nd anniversary of SHRDC, a testament to our enduring commitment to excellence in training and development. Over the years, SHRDC has impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of individuals, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving workforce. This anniversary serves as a proud reminder of our collective impact and the transformative power of education.
Looking ahead, we remain steadfast in our commitment to sustainability and community engagement with IMKL Conference 2024!
